A multi-year involvement in the renovation and modernization of over 26 libraries for the Free Library of Philadelphia has provided the opportunity to implement our theories in library design. The key factor in our design approach is to create an open, welcoming environment for all ages while providing an intimate, child-scaled story area in response to the emphasis on ‘Children Learning.’
