In the initial stages of designing a research and testing laboratory, we analyze and document the purposes of the functional spaces. Work flow and equipment needs determine the layout; safety regulations impact the overall design. Technical specifications demand a high degree of adaptability to the ever-changing test configurations. Our experience in laboratory design includes a single testing lab of an emerging company, teaching and research suites for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s Veterinary Diagnostic Center.
